Garment types

A garment type is a kind of garment, such as a T-shirt, a polo or a sports shirt, together with the print locations it offers: the places that kind of garment can be printed. Every model belongs to one. On the quote screen, garment types are the ประเภท (Type) filter in the first step, and once a model is chosen, the จุดสกรีน (Print locations) step offers only the locations its type offers. On the printed quote, the type's name comes before the model's: เสื้อยืด · 76000 (T-shirt · 76000).

The table

The table's columns are ชื่อประเภท (Type name), จุดสกรีน (Print locations), จำนวนรุ่น (Number of models), สถานะ (Status) and จัดการ (Actions).

  • จุดสกรีน (Print locations) counts the locations ticked for the type, such as 3 จุด (3 locations). Which ones they are is in the edit panel.
  • จำนวนรุ่น (Number of models) counts the type's models, on sale or retired, such as 4 รุ่น (4 models). Press the count to open รุ่นเสื้อ (Models) filtered to the type. A type with no models yet shows 0 รุ่น (0 models), which cannot be pressed.

Every shop has the garment type อื่นๆ (Other), for things that fit no other type, such as caps or tote bags. It cannot be retired or deleted, so its row has a ประเภทตั้งต้น (Default type) label instead of the ⋮ button, but you can rename it, choose its print locations and move it like any other type.

Adding a garment type

  1. Press เพิ่มรายการใหม่ (Add new). The เพิ่มประเภทใหม่ (Add a new type) panel opens.
  2. Enter the ชื่อประเภท (Type name), such as เสื้อกีฬา (sports shirt). It is the name in the quote screen's ประเภท (Type) filter.
  3. Under จุดสกรีน (Print locations), tick every location this kind of garment can be printed at, at least one. A new type starts with none ticked.
  4. Press เพิ่มรายการใหม่ (Add new).

A new garment type does not appear on the quote screen until it has a model on sale. Until then, ภาพรวม (Overview) lists it in its รายการที่ยังไม่พร้อมใช้ในใบเสนอราคา (Not ready for quotes yet) box. Add its models on Models.

Choosing print locations

Press แก้ไข (Edit) on the type's row, tick or untick locations under จุดสกรีน (Print locations), and press บันทึก (Save).

  • Beside the จุดสกรีน (Print locations) heading is how many are ticked, such as เลือกแล้ว 3 จาก 5 (3 of 5 chosen).
  • The list holds only print locations that are on sale and already take a print size.
  • A list of more than ten has a ค้นหาในรายการ (Search the list) box above it. A search only hides the locations that do not match: a tick on a hidden location stays, and is saved.

You can also tick from the print location's side, on จุดสกรีน (Print locations), under ประเภทเสื้อที่สกรีนจุดนี้ได้ (Garment types that offer this location). Both change the same thing.

Untick a location from every type that had it, and it leaves the quote screen and goes into the รายการที่ยังไม่พร้อมใช้ในใบเสนอราคา (Not ready for quotes yet) box on ภาพรวม (Overview), until a garment type offers it again.

Retiring or deleting

Retiring or deleting a garment type takes every one of its models off the quote screen too, even those still on sale, and those models cannot be saved until they are moved to a type on sale. How to do both is in Add, edit, retire and delete.

When a save is refused

  • ต้องกรอกช่องนี้ (This box must be filled in), under the จุดสกรีน (Print locations) list, means no location is ticked. Every garment type must offer at least one: tick one and press บันทึก (Save) again.
  • บันทึกไม่ได้ เพราะจะไม่เหลือเสื้อให้สั่งเลย หน้าใบเสนอราคาจะเปิดไม่ได้ (Cannot save: there would be no shirts left to order, and the quote screen could not open), at the bottom of the screen as you retire or delete a type, means the only models the quote screen can still use are this type's. Add a model of another type, or put one back on sale, first.
