Add, edit, retire and delete

Every screen in the เสื้อ (Garments) and งานสกรีน (Printing) groups adds, edits, orders, retires and deletes in the same way, and this page covers what they share. The exception is ไซส์ (Sizes), which you can only read: there is nothing there to add or edit.

The table

Each screen lists its rows in a table, in the order your shop has arranged them.

• The สถานะ (Status) column says whether a row is เปิดขาย (On sale) or ปิดอยู่ (Retired).
• The จัดการ (Actions) column has แก้ไข (Edit) and a three-dot button, ⋮, holding the two things you do less often: retiring and deleting. On แบรนด์ (Brands) and ขนาดงานสกรีน (Print sizes), บันทึก (Save) takes the place of แก้ไข (Edit).
• เพิ่มรายการใหม่ (Add new) is above the table, on the right.

Adding and editing

1. Press เพิ่มรายการใหม่ (Add new), or แก้ไข (Edit) on a row. A panel slides in from the right of the screen, and its heading says what you are doing, such as เพิ่มรุ่นใหม่ (Add a new model), or แก้ไข (Edit) followed by the row's name.
2. Fill in or change the boxes in the panel.
3. Press the button at the foot of the panel. It reads เพิ่มรายการใหม่ (Add new) when you are adding and บันทึก (Save) when you are editing.

Once it is saved, the panel closes and บันทึกแล้ว (Saved) appears. Anything you add goes on sale straight away, at the end of the table.

To close the panel without saving, press the cross in its top right-hand corner, press Esc, or press anywhere outside it.

แบรนด์ (Brands) and ขนาดงานสกรีน (Print sizes) have so few boxes that you edit them in the table itself, without a panel: type in the row, then press บันทึก (Save) in the same row. On these two screens, เพิ่มรายการใหม่ (Add new) opens a small window in the middle of the screen instead of the panel.

Closing the panel before saving

If you have changed something in the panel and close it before saving, the app asks ทิ้งสิ่งที่แก้ไว้? (Discard your changes?).

• แก้ไขต่อ (Keep editing) takes you back to the panel, with your changes as they were.
• ทิ้งสิ่งที่แก้ (Discard changes) closes the panel, and your changes are lost.

It asks only when something has really changed: a box ticked and then unticked again counts as no change. A link in the panel that leads to another screen asks the same question.

Retiring or deleting

There are two ways to take something you no longer sell off the quote screen.

Retiring or deleting a brand or a garment type also takes its models off the quote screen, even though the models themselves are still on sale. The garment type อื่นๆ (Other) cannot be retired or deleted, so its row has a ประเภทตั้งต้น (Default type) label instead of the ⋮ button.

Retiring

1. Press ⋮ on the row, and choose ปิดการขาย (Retire).
2. The app asks ปิดการขายรายการนี้? (Retire this item?). Press ยืนยัน (Confirm).

You can put it back on sale whenever you like: press ⋮ and choose เปิดการขาย (Put on sale). That one does not ask.

Deleting

1. Press ⋮ on the row, and choose ลบ (Delete).
2. The app asks ย้ายรายการนี้ไปถังขยะ? (Move this item to the trash?). Press ยืนยัน (Confirm).

It waits on the ถังขยะ (Trash) screen, in the ร้าน (Shop) group, and can be restored from there until it is deleted for good; see The trash.

Changing the order

Drag the six-dot handle at the start of a row up or down to move it. The new order is saved as soon as you drop it, and บันทึกแล้ว (Saved) appears.

The order in the table is the order the quote screen offers things in, and models follow it within each garment type. Brands are the exception: on the quote screen they follow the models, not this order.

You can use the keyboard too:

1. Press Tab until you reach the handle of the row to move.
2. Press Space to pick the row up.
3. Press the up or down arrow to move it.
4. Press Space again to drop it, or Esc to cancel.

Two screens differ:

• ขนาดงานสกรีน (Print sizes) asks เปลี่ยนลำดับขนาดงาน? (Change the order of print sizes?) before saving, because the order is the sizes' real order, from smallest to largest, and it matters to prices. Press ยกเลิก (Cancel) to put the rows back as they were.
• รุ่นเสื้อ (Models) can be reordered only while no filter is set. While one is, the handles are gone.

When a save is refused

If a box is filled in wrongly, the reason appears under it, such as ต้องเป็นตัวเลข (Must be a number) under a price, or ยาวเกินไป (Too long) under a name or description longer than 200 characters. Correct it and save again. A name box left empty is caught by the browser itself, which warns you at the box and saves nothing.

Sometimes there is nothing wrong with the row itself, but saving, retiring or deleting it would leave the quote screen with nothing to choose at one of its steps. The app then saves nothing, everything stays as it was, and a message appears at the bottom of the screen. It stays until you close it with its cross.

• บันทึกไม่ได้ เพราะจะไม่เหลือเสื้อให้สั่งเลย หน้าใบเสนอราคาจะเปิดไม่ได้ (Cannot save: there would be no shirts left to order, and the quote screen could not open) — no model would be left to choose: you retired the last model on sale, for example, or the brand or garment type of the models that are left.
• บันทึกไม่ได้ เพราะจะไม่เหลือขนาดงานสกรีนให้เลือกเลย (Cannot save: there would be no print sizes left to choose) — no print size would be left on sale.
• บันทึกไม่ได้ เพราะจะไม่เหลือจุดสกรีนให้เลือกเลย (Cannot save: there would be no print locations left to choose) — no print location would be left that is on sale and that a technique can print.
• บันทึกไม่ได้ เพราะจะไม่เหลือเทคนิคสกรีนให้เลือกเลย (Cannot save: there would be no techniques left to choose) — no technique would be left that is on sale and prices at least one print size.

The way out is to add something to take its place, or put something back on sale, first, and only then retire or delete the original.

If it says บันทึกไม่สำเร็จ กรุณาลองใหม่ (Saving failed, please try again), save again. If it says บันทึกไม่ได้ เพราะมีราคาที่ไม่ใช่จำนวนเต็มอยู่ในฐานข้อมูล (Cannot save: the database holds a price that is not a whole number), your shop's price data is damaged: contact us.
